dance of the Dead

How the dead dance,
The glory, the grace,
The endless romance,
Magnus fiddling pace;
Of those whom you fear,
The blue in those eyes,
The laughter you can hear,
A glimpse of demise.
Lost in the trance,
You see the dead dance.
You see, the dance of the Dead.

Dancing to the music of the night
As death passes away,
In mystery moon’s silver light.
So lifeful they sway,
Syncronised chaos, deadly abuse
Swinging in joy as children might;
Fading to music, something like the Blues,
Dark figures lined in white.
And lost in the trance,
You see the dead dance.
You see, the dance of the Dead.

The Never-ending Joy,
The beauty of the Past,
The shrill soothing voice
Flows frantic and fast.
The voice of all happily deceased
Through the silent tunnel runs,
Of all whom you never missed
And all your loved ones.
And so lost in that trance,
You see the dead dance.
You see, the dance of the Dead.

      1. That’s OK – I don’t like the guy whose funeral I’m attending, but I have to go, since he was the father of my two younger children – so I have to control my mirth 🙂
